Any medium weight woven fabrics, like cotton, linen, corduroy and twill. Felt works beautifully too!

Fabric Requirements

Each large letter requires two pieces of fabric 22 x 25 cm (8 3/4″ x 10″)
Each small letter requires two pieces of fabric 14 x 15cm (5 1/2″ x 6″)

Required Notions

Large letters – 4m (4yd) of 20mm (1″) wide herringbone tape or ribbon
Small letters – 2m (2yd) of 20mm (1″) wide herringbone tape or ribbon
