Pattern Difficulty

The pattern requires precise machine sewing and basic hand sewing stitches. All techniques are demonstrated and explained in the written and video instructions.

Fabric Recommendations

Lightweight woven cotton and linen, around 150gsm. Heavier weight fabrics will make the small mouse pieces tricky to turn.

Required Notions

  • Lightweight interfacing (like Vlieseline H180)
  • A spool of embroidery thread in the following colours:
    • Dark brown (eg. DMC 938)
    • A similar colour to your mouse (eg. DMC 06)
    • Light pink (eg. DMC 948)
  • Poly fill stuffing (less than 10g per mouse)
  • Thread
For the clothing:
  • 3mm (1/8″) wide elastic
  • Small safety pins
  • 8mm (1/4″ or 3/8″) snap fasteners or 3mm (1/8″) wide ribbon
  • Any fun trims or coloured elastic you’d like to add!
