How to Care for your Clothes & Shoes
This post is sponsored by VIVAIA. You can find my review of VIVAIA’s beautiful shoes here.
I don’t know about you, but whenever I reach a change of season I reflect on my wardrobe, and with Autumn now upon us I’m revisiting my capsule wardrobe to prepare for the colder months. But some items are in there season after season, because one of the key principles I want to have for my wardrobe is to get as much wear out of each item as possible. So caring for my clothes is something that I give quite a bit of thought to. In my latest YouTube video, I share some tips to help you look after your clothes and shoes, to help them last for years.
VIVAIA make shoes that are stylish, comfortable and sustainable. Each pair of shoes is made from 6 recycled plastic bottles, with a transparent supply chain from plastic bottle to shoe.
The shoes are super high quality, durable and hardwearing, so you will likely get years of wear out of them. They’re also some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. They’re soft and cushiony thanks to the Thick Cut Natural Herbal Insole. They’re also antimicrobial and the innovative knit makes them very breathable, so your feet will stay fresh even in hot weather. I find they run true to size, even with my wide feet.
VIVAIA’s shoes are also super easy to care for, helping them to last a really long time. You can even put these shoes in the washing machine!
My favourites include:
The Margot flats, which have a lovely square toe that’s really flattering on all foot types.
The Odette flats, which are a beautiful classic style. I love the pink plaid, which feels fun whilst still being grown up.
The Daphne flats, which are so unique and able to be dressed up for more formal occasions, as well as runs to the supermarket.
The Titli heels, which are without a doubt the most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn! There’s no chance of sore feet in these, even after a long day.
